The Weeknd

The weeknd or Abel Tesfaye or as I like to call him " King Tesfaye" is a Canadian PBR&B recording artist andrecord producer who is known for his explicit songs that   are built around a fogged, crepuscular production and feature slow tempos, rumbling bass, and forlorn echoes.

The Weeknd sings in a falsetto register, and exhibits a pleading, anxious tone. His emotional, plaintive lyrics often express feelings of hurt and deal with subject matter such as sex drugs, and partying.

I discovered the Weeknd summer 2013 and Wicked games was my first song I've ever listened to by him, his super crude and explicit words fit perfectly with its heavy and slow beats creating a hazy atmosphere. his song got me thirsty to listen to his other masterpieces.

He never mars the inherent sensuality of r'n'b but he takes its festive side and replaces it with an icy realism. This sophisticated combination works beyond all, based on fantasies and hidden neuroses of the listener.
